Web Site Updates

MOTORKHANA DETAILS ADDED.
Amongst many small updates to the HAC Web site over the last month (some even achieved whilst the editor was overseas), details have been added on two important motorkhanas coming up soon. The first is the HAC round of the NGK VMC Series, to be held at Colac on Sunday, August 16. See more details on this event in the Coming Events page, but please note that we still require more officials to help with running the event. Why not join fellow members at Colac, some of whom will be making it a weekend away with a group dinner already booked at the popular Beeac Hotel on the Saturday night.

Details have also been added (via an external link) regarding the 2015 NGK Australian Motorkhana Championship which will be held at Huntly (near Bendigo) on Saturday, September 26, with practice on the evening of September 25th. Quite a few HAC members will be competing in the event (with some in contention for Championship honours), and HAC will be part of the organising team, so as usual we will need a few more helpers to volunteer to help out. More news closer to the date.

Club Permit & Contacts Info Added

Recent additions to our website include the following:

  • See our Club Permit page for full details on our Club’s conditions for VicRoads Club Permit use. HAC is an approved Club under the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme. The scheme allows vehicles over 25 years old to be driven for up to 90 days a year without full registration providing certain conditions from both our Club and VicRoads are met.

  • Contact details for the Club have been updated – refer to the Contact page forĀ  all these details.

Speed Events added to Calendar

Although HAC is primarily a Motorkhana club, for those interested in Speed Events (Sprints and Hillclimbs) the remaining Group 5 Speed Events have now been added to our Calendar. Speed Events will also be shown on our Coming Events page.

We encourage HAC members to nominate HAC when entering Group 5 Speed Events, as this will improve our Club’s standing in the Group 5 Speed Series Championship.
