CASUAL COFFEE MORNINGS

In lieu of our usual monthly social Pub Nights, during the winter months we will be trialling ‘Casual Coffee Mornings‘ at various times and locations to be notified on this page. The first of these will be on Friday, June 20 at the Parkdale Beach Cafe & Kiosk, 151 Beach Road Parkdale (opposite Parkers Road).

The July CASUAL COFFEE MORNING will be held at the Middleman Cafe’, 35 Dalmore Drive, Scoresby, on Friday, July 18 from 10:30am. This spacious modern Cafe’ is set in a pleasant garden setting just off the Eastlink Freeway (Southbound), but access is via Dalmore Road (off Ferntree Gully Road).

HAC members and friends are invited to join us for a casual coffee or further snacks from 10:30 a.m.

To continue our theme of daytime meetings during the colder months, and following the success of our first two casual coffee mornings, our next getogether will be a bistro lunch on Saturday, August 16th at the Dandenong Club. Further details will be announced later, but make a note of the date now, and we look forward to catching up again in August.

MOTORKHANAS & KHANACROSS (VMC & VKC)

A State Championship Series is held each year for both Motorkhana (VMC) and Khanacross (VKC) competitors. Many competitors compete in both Series, as most cars are suitable for both. Events are held on either sealed (bitumen, concrete, etc.) or unsealed (grass, dirt, etc.) surfaces.

GROUP 5 EVENTS

GROUP 5 Clubs offer a range of Motorkhana, Khanacross, Autocross, Hillclimbs and Sprint events throughout the year. Entry is usually open to all MA Licence Holders, and a Motorkhana/Khanacross Series is held each year.
